We’ve all been to Disneyland, but now there’s an excuse to go to somewhere near there without actually having to go see Mickey Mouse. Yogurt D’Italia is located right at the corner of Katella and Harbor, right across from the happiest place on earth.

The exact address is:
Yogurt Dtalia
1770 S Harbor Blvd Ste 138
Anaheim, CA 92802
714.808.9755
I’m pretty sure they are open till 11pm on most evenings since the summer time is nearing and the tourist are coming to Disneyland in flocks.
The store itself was very clean and the employee’s extremely friendly, the decor was itself not as loud as Pinkberry. The seating is somewhat limited, but our assumption is that most people take their froyo on the go.

At Yogurt D’Italia, not only do they serve frozen yogurt but they offered Hawaiin Shaved ice, Smoothies, and even fresh squeezed orange juice. But our main objective was the frozen yogurt on this trip.
They offered four flavors to choose from: Plain, Mango, Strawberry, and Blueberry. The toppings had your variety of fresh fruits and dried cereals or nuts. We opted for the fresh fruits obviously because their good for you.
We tried three different ones:

Mango w/Strawberry and Mango

Plain w/Raspberry’s’

Plain w/Fruity Pebbles
The yogurt was very tasty, not as tart as we have come to expect from the majority of frozen yogurt vendors we have tried. But the yogurt was good, there was the hint of tartness and it was slightly sweeter then were used to. It was however very refreshing and good in our opinion. I’m delighted to see that this shop at least took the effort to make their yogurt unique.
As far as the flavored yogurt goes, the Mango yogurt was not totally enveloped with Mango flavoring. Their was a hint of mango but not so much that it overpowered the taste and texture of the frozen yogurt. I did try a sample of the Strawberry and thought it to be very good, not too sweet with just the right amount of flavoring.
The toppings we have to say were very fresh, its like they were cut literally right before we had them topped onto our fresh yogurt. Although the location may seem touristy, there was plenty of parking when we swung by on a Friday night.
Don’t hesitate to ask for a sample of the different flavors before making a decision, they’ll even put whatever topping you want on the sample just to make sure you like it.
I used to work at Yogurt D’ Italia, and i have to admit that it is the best frozen yogurt i have ever tasted. I especially love the plain frozen yogurt with mangos. It is a delicious dessert that is good at any time of the day. I would like to thank Mr. Chung for giving me the opportunity to expierence a new kind of frozen yogurt. It is great and i will never forget it!
