Fro Yo is one of the few self serve frozen yogurt places that you’ll find in San Diego, CA.

Located across from the University of San Diego, at 5401 Linda Vista Road, it’s definitely a place you can’t miss, if need a study break.

They offer 8 flavors, including plain tart, mango tart, and something new everyone should try, pumpkin. The pumpkin flavor actually tastes exactly like your pumpkin pie with a hint of cinnamon. The plain tarts icy-ness was consistent to my liking and the toppings looked fresh too.

The mochi was soft in texture, just the way I like it. For just $0.35 an ounce, they also offer a punch card deal for regular customers. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was full of energetic hip hop music. They open 7 days a week, until 11pm.

FroYo is one of my favorite places to just drop in any time day or night- it’s super cheap, sooo good, and you can have as many toppings as you want, whether your feeling like being healthy or just want a pound of oreo and cookie dough. They also rotate the flavors regularly, so the popular ones might be regular but the other machines will always have something different to try out. LOVE THIS PLACE

I love the whole self serve idea and that they are open until 11pm everynight. This place is the best.

I really enjoyed being able to make it myself because you actually get to spend time doing the toppings right. Why would I want a bunch of different toppings somewhere else if they just throw them on the top?

I’ll be back all the time for my froyo fix!

FroYo is my favorite place to grab some froyo. Fresh strawberries are awesome and they always have at least one tart flavor. Check out the peanut butter or cheesecake when they’re in.
