I’m from san jose, but i go to school at UC Davis. When I first went to Swirl in downtown Davis, I really did not like it at all. it was sour, i didn’t finish it, and the fruits were too tart for my taste. HOWEVER, upon going there AGAIN towards the end of the school year, i tried something that my friend suggested, and since then i’ve been back about 10 times! It’s summer now, and I crave it so much, but it’s a two and a half hour drive from where i am. i think you should DEFINITELY look into it. it’s a great atmosphere too! sometimes i get a lil disappointed with how much it LOOKS like they put on my yogurt, but i always come out satisfied. in fact, one time i asked for a large, and the server put yogurt on the bottom, my toppings (strawberries, fruity pebbles, mochi) on top, then covered it with more frozen yogurt and MORE toppings! my mouth is watering as i’m writing this.

there’s also another yogurt place around the corner called “yogurt shack” i’ve never been there. but i hear that their yogurt is sweeter because of the added sugar and their toppings are mainly candies and dry toppings.

i’d rather have my swirl =) but we’ll see.
