It seems as though many of the froyo chains are concocting newer flavors to attract fans. We covered Cefiore last week when they introduced their new flavor ‘Golden Cherry’. To step up their game, Red Mango is rolling out a new flavor infused with POM Pomegranate. The new pomegranate flavor is not available at all Red Mango’s as of yet, but if your home turf is New York you may have a chance to sample it before the masses. The tasting is going to take place on November 11, 2008 from 7-8pm @ the Union Square Red Mango in New York.

We are disappointed that this is a NY only event, where is the love for the west coast? The flavors won’t start trickling into the stores until Nov. 14. So until then we’ll just have to wait and see.
[Update 11.4.08 8:07PM] All of us West Coasters can now rejoice. Red Mango is offering the same deal for their Westwood Village store on November 13, 2008 from 7-8PM. To get on that list you’ll have to send an email to: rsvpLA@redmangousa.com
